Effects of Artificial Water Withdrawal on the Terrestrial Water Cycle in the Yangtze River Basin

Clarifying the response of terrestrial water cycle to influence climate change and human activities accurately grasping variations in resources under changing environment are scientific basis for achieving sustainable development Yangtze River Economic Belt. In this paper, a dataset rasterized consumption Basin was constructed, an artificial withdrawal module considering process intake, drainage designed, which coupled with land surface model CLM4.5. Based on multi-scale validation Basin, two numerical simulation experiments were carried out reveal impact Basin. The results indicate that leads 0.1–0.3 m increase groundwater table depth most areas basin, agricultural irrigation 0–0.03 mm3/mm3 soil moisture areas. Climate dominates variation discharge basin at stations.
